A wedding can be the most important day of your life and you definitely want to have a few tips on how to choose and what to choose while you select the outfit. Whether it is your big day or your best friends, DO NOT settle for less. Make it just as perfect as it could be. Many times due to some reasons the bride has to compromise on their look and I’m sure you don’t want to be one of those brides, do you? Let’s ensure that your wedding outfit is as pretty as yours!

Select a good quality fabric

This is the most important aspect when choosing the dress. You don’t want to feel uncomfortable on your special day plus the ceremony can go on for hours. For a summer wedding, you can opt for light fabrics like chiffon or georgette. For monsoon weddings, crepe, net, georgette, and chiffon are good options to choose from. Silk and Velvet can never go wrong if it’s winter.

Match your wedding dress with your skin and body

You surely want all eyes on you for that day! Matching the outfit that compliments both your skin and body type will definitely make you look more attractive, you’ll be in the limelight, as you should. If you are dusky you can choose bright colors like red, you can go with subtle colors like pink, orange, or white if you’re fair.

If you have a dream lehenga, go for it

Do not settle for anything that isn’t your dream. Wearing your dream designer can make you look pretty as well as confident. You can, without any doubt, rock a Sabyasachi or Manish Malhotra lehenga. Also, if you’re a plus-size bride, there is nothing that you can’t wear. Taking inspiration from Dolly Meghani who looked glamourous in a Sabyasachilehenga and made every woman believe that who they are and what they look like is enough to be truly happy on her big day.

Accessorise bridal

Jewelry adds the perfect finish to your entire look, so make sure to choose the right ones. You don't need to match your jewelry with the outfit, you can bring in the trendy contrasts and mix&match however you like. Also keep in mind- heavy dress, subtle jewelry, and Vice-versa.

Explore Different Colors

Gone are those days when red was the only color of the brides. No doubt it is a royal color but there are so many colors waiting to be explored- pink, pastels, blue, and orange are very trendy nowadays. We can not forget that Alia Bhatt wore a White lehenga and rocked it completely.

Avoid heavy dupattas

Don’t pick a lot of dupattas, ensure that you don’t pick heavy ones. It might add up to the weight of our lehenga which surely is going to exhaust you. Lighter ones will have no added weight and will be breezy to carry too!
