Stories that inspire you aren’t made overnight, it is a process that can even take a lifetime. When Prafull’s CAT left him saying that ‘I’m not your cup of tea’, he was probably like don’t worry I’ll make my own cup of tea.
Meet Mr. Billore Ahmadabad Chai Wala a.k.a MBA Chai Wala, whose down-to-earth personality and the process of life struggles would astonish you. From Dhar city in Indore, Prafull was always a curious student with interest in political debates since he was in the 8th std. His father is a Pandit turned Businessman. After 3 years, when he couldn’t have the CAT (Common Admission Test), it led to a path of change for him. The change wasn’t easy, to keep himself engaged and get back on track, Prafull joined McDonalds. While working there, he realized that a job isn’t his cup of tea, he wanted to do more in the business industry.
One thing Prafull always believed is ‘Dream Big, Start Small, Act Now. One can be dreaming all day but needs money to do something. In his case, even if he could arrange enough money, there wasn’t enough risk capacity. Being from an elite family, it was quite difficult to start a roadside chai business. In an interview, Mr. Billore had mentioned he had bought all the material to start the business, but it took 54 days for him to find enough courage just to begin it. He sold none on opening day, but he didn’t give up.
Every successful person has one thing in common “never give up attitude”. Prafull kept thinking about what he should do to attract people? With his creative mind and never give up attitude, He started going to people saying
“Hello, I’ve opened my chai stall recently. I was wondering, If you would like to have some?”
As shocking it was for people to see a chai wala speaking “ “ in English, it became an attraction and his sales went up. People started to come not just for tea but to listen to Prafull talk about his stories, about life and how he started a chai stall.
Initially, it was named Mr. Billore Chai wala, but it wasn’t well received. People used to make fun of him as Billionaire, Billo Rani. So later he renamed it as Mr. Billore Ahmadabad Chai wala, popularly abbreviated as MBA Chai wala. When asked about why specifically choose the tea business, Prafull said it was a process. After failing CAT, he was frustrated, but one has to overcome the failures in life and find the path to success. So joined McDonald’s as he had to do something. He says there’s just one thing that unites this diverse country and that’s chai, That’s how the MBA Chai wala came to existence. Along with the job, he started selling chai at night.
Apart from this, he also used this business to help others and create great connections. Prafull used to hang a whiteboard where people used to write about their job requirements. While other people who knows any job opening or HR’s visiting MBA Chai wiala would contact them sipping the MBA Chai. Talking on prejudice about a Chai Wala,
Prafull says work is work.It doesn’t matter if you’re educated or not. Surely it would make things easy, if you do it with proper education. But real taste of success comes when it is done with real passion and hard work, as nothing comes easy in life. Its a two-way journey, everyone has to work. He further adds, Just keep repeating things till succeed when you know your life goal. But when you know this isn’t your path, then you should do find it. One can fool others, but not themselves. Invest your time where it is valuable, when you know the power of a single second in your life, no one can stop you from being successful.

You’ll not only drink his chai, but also get life changing learning.
“There’s no degree greater than life experience”-Prafull Billore
I did 5 years of MBA by the side of a road. One pays around 20-25 lac rupees for MBA, but what if I educate you easily with chai. If you’re a content writer or in any kind of business, and I say what if you would earn 2-3 lac per month, wouldn’t you take it? You may have the specific skillsets, but I’ll teach you how to utilize your skills to get real value in life. We think the changes are too hard, but sometimes its just small things that need to change.’
“He adds that you’re Hanuman and I’m Jamavanth, Just like Jamavanth reminded Hanuman of his
powers and glory, I’ll guide you to reach your goal with your inner powers and skills!”
Talking about the current government, he says that they are the decision-makers and quite supportive. A program like Digital India and Skill India was need of the hour. We live in a digital world now, everyone is physically present but everyone is mentally and emotionally attached to digital media. So why not be first in it? Even today Prafull prepares Chai in different fundraising events, but his main base is in Ahmadabad. To
be successful you don’t need lots of uniqueness, you just need enough courage and a never-giving-up attitude. MBA Chai wala would be the next biggest revolution in India, says Prafull Billore
